Mrs. Ruby Lillian Hall Phillips, age 52, of Pleasant Valley Road, Adairsville, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Murray County Medical Center, Chatsworth.
Mrs. Phillips was born in Fairmount, GA, November 13, 1960, daughter of the late Melvin and Fannie Lou Hall. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Full Bible Church. Ruby loved to travel and especially enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Faye Hall Hogue.
She is survived by 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Jeannette Bryant of Cohutta and Connie Mae and M.C. Young of Sonoraville; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Freddie Hall of Adairsville and Dennis and Debbie Mulkey of Adairsville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Full Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Hoyt Godfrey and Rev. Cary Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Jeff James, Rusty Law, Justin Tippens, Bill Wilson, Billy Joe Rogers, Terry “J.R.” Young, Brandon James and Tyler James will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM until the funeral begins at 4:00 PM.
