Mr. Adrian R. Vincent, age 84, of 196 N. Dixie Avenue, Cartersville passed away Tuesday evening, October 2, 2012 at Townsend Park Health and Rehab, Cartersville.
He was born in Louisville, KY, January 19, 1928, son of the late Leonard and Verna Mae Gribbins Vincent. Mr. Vincent was a veteran of the United States Air Force and later made a career in automobile sales. He also had a love for airplanes, and was a licensed pilot. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Helen Rogers and Audrey Wise.
Survivors include five sons, and daughters-in-law, Keith and Gayle Vincent of Suwanee, GA, Steve Vincent of Chatsworth, GA, Rick and Faye Vincent of Jacksboro, TN, Wayne Vincent, and Bill and Kathy Vincent of Charlotte, NC; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Leonard "Bud" and Marilyn Vincent of Ocala, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Dewitt Pritchard of Marietta; nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 4:00 PM from Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville, where the cremains will be interred. Following the interment a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held upstairs at The 1902 Stock Exchange, located at 124 Public Square, Adairsville, GA.
