Mr. Alan “Troy” Westbrook, age 62, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain surrounded by his loving family. Troy was born in Atlanta, Georgia, September 23, 1963, to the late Bill E. Westbrook and Linda L. Westbrook.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Aaron Childree (Raymond) of Ozark, AL; grandchildren, Noah Abbott of Ozark, AL, Breanna Wright and William Dennis of Verbena, AL; stepmother, Betty Westbrook of Acworth GA; brothers: Paul Westbrook of Acworth, GA and Steven Westbrook of Marietta, GA; sister: Brenda Sue Clark of Draketown, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Troy was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved playing his guitar and listening to music, especially classic rock and the music of AC/DC. He had a deep appreciation for good Southern comfort food and enjoyed the familiar tastes that reminded him of home. Troy spent much of his working life as a maintenance man and was also skilled in small engine repair, always willing to lend a hand when something needed fixing. In his quiet moments, you could often find him with his guitar or enjoying his favorite music, living life in the easygoing way he loved. He will be remembered for his laid-back spirit and the simple joys that meant so much to him.

Honoring Troy’s wishes he was cremated. A celebration of Troy’s life will be held at a later date.
