Mr. Alfred Stanley, age 67, of Stoner Road, Adairsville, went to be with the Lord November 7, 2014.

He was born in Calhoun, Georgia, January 25, 1947, son of the late German M. Stanley and Edith Arlou Whitecotton Stanley. Mr. Stanley was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church and deacon for many years. He was a devout christian, cherished his family and avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carolyn Stanley.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Sue Blankenship Stanley of Adairsville; daughters and son-in-law, Melissa Cox of Cartersville, Mandy and Cain Allen of Calhoun, Debra Stanley of Center, AL, and Daphney Stanley of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren, Lacey Ross, McKayla Miller, Mackenzie Hall, Cheyenne Allen, Brooke-Lynn Allen, John Stanley Bailey, Jerica Ingram, Joshua Allen, Brodey Allen, Macee Hall, Hayden Stanley, and Tyler Stanley; 8 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Patricia Stanley of Adairsville; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Robert Terry of Sonoraville; his baby schnauzer, Daisie Mae and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyt Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be David Bryant, Doug Bryant, Bill Howard, Phillip Howard, Jeff Howard, and Dustin Clark.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
