Ms. Alisa Juanette Carter, age 58, of Adairsville, passed away Tuesday morning, April 9, 2024.
Juanette was born in Rome, Georgia, September 19, 1965. She was a graduate of Adairsville High School Class of 1983. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt and friend. Juanette loved life and brought so much joy to others. She enjoyed people, family get-togethers, playing cards, winning lottery tickets, and simply having a good time. She was an outgoing, music loving, happy dancing beautiful soul who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia R. Carter; grandparents, John and Ada Reynolds; Ernest and Lucille Carter and Earnest Hayes; brothers, Jackie Lamar Carter and Jeffery McDaniel; sisters, Cicely Ann Carter and Angela Laverne Carter.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Eddie Evans and Cardale Carter; father, Leroy Carter; grandchildren, Kayla, Kian, Khloe, Kyler, Kace, Jordan, Xavier, Kamori, Kam, Ka'mya, Jayla, Kamoni, Kael, Kardier, Kross; special niece, Mercedes Carter; sisters, Darlene Carter Bryant, Stephanie Wilkins (Billy) and Crissy Fisher; brother, Chris Brewer; aunts Annie Bell Carter Sanders, Joan Carter, and Shirley Lowe; uncles, Melvin "Winkie" Lowe; special friends, Lisa Riley, Doris Riley, Jan Pullum, and Margaret Curtis; family friend, Ms. Ruby and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Juanette's life will be held Monday, April 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Pastors James "DD" Harris and Billy Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, is in charge of funeral arrangements for Ms. Alisa Juanette Carter.
