June 23, 1988 – November 22, 2024
Mrs. Alexandria Chambers Griner, better known as Allie, age 36, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning, November 22, 2024.
Allie was born in Macon, GA, June 23, 1988, daughter of William Harris "Bill" Chambers, Jr and Rose Smith Chambers. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Chambers,grandparents, Ralph and Charlotte Smith of Camilla and grandmother-in-law, Sarah Pinson. Allie was a graduate of the University of Georgia and worked as the 4-H extension agent for Gordon County. She married her high school sweetheart and best friend, together they had the honor of fostering 11 children. She dedicated her life to loving, teaching, and giving to children. She was a member of Adairsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 11 years, Caleb Griner; son, JD Griner; parents, Bill and Rose Chambers; brothers and sisters, Jill Myers (Ken), Kay Brooks(Trippe), Beth Chambers, Billy Chambers, and Jess Chambers (Christina); father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Carol Griner; brothers-in-law, Jacob Griner(Anda) and Isaac Griner; grandfather-in-law, Carl Pinson; 11 nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2024, at 3:00PM at the Adairsville Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Sorrell officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church. Family will serve as pallbearers.
Private family interment will be in the Chambers Family Cemetery, Macon.
Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Gordon County 4-H in honor of Allie.
