Mr. Andrew Clifford Barfoot, Sr.,75, of Adairsville, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born in Dublin, GA, September 24, 1949, to the late Clifford Walker Barfoot and Elsie Mae Brantley Barfoot. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Fragala.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Susan Turek Barfoot; son, Andrew C. Barfoot, Jr.; daughter, Jessica Barfoot; grandchildren, Can and Umay; sister, Patricia Fragala; brothers, Sandy (Kathy) Barfoot and Jay Barfoot (Rita); sisters-in-law, Teresa Tweedy, Jean Walker, Joan Burford (Peter); brothers-in-law, Richard Turek (Sally) and Tom Turek (Mary) and many nieces and nephews.

Andrew, affectionately known as Butch by his family and Drew by his friends, was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated from Americus High School, where he played baseball and all-star basketball. He went on to earn his industrial engineering degree from Georgia Tech, where he was the foul shot champion. Andrew embarked on a successful career with Scott Paper, working in Chester and Philly, PA, Hattiesburg, MS, Mobile, AL and Roswell, GA, before retiring after 40 years with the company, now known as Kimberly Clark. A sports enthusiast, he loved watching all sports and playing golf. He was also an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish. In his later years, Andrew enjoyed spending his days in Adairsville with his wife Susan, their children, and grandchildren.

A celebration of Andrew's life will be held Monday, March 17, 2025, from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at The Gardens at Kennesaw Mountain, 1127 White Circle NW, Marietta, Georgia 30060.

In lieu of flowers the family ask donation to be made in honor of Mr. Barfoot for to Tunnels to Towers, The Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choice.
