Jason Andrew Garlin, better known to everyone as Andy, age 44, of Adairsville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Andy was born in Rome, GA, February 29, 1980. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eunice Gay Carney, Joe Beard, Virginia Smith Garlin, and Billy Garlin. Andy was of the Baptist faith and member of the Adairsville Masonic Lodge #168.

Andy was a loving husband, father, son and brother. His greatest accomplishment was his children, Rylee and Mason Andy loved being a dad more than anything. They enjoyed doing all things outdoors: camping, 4wheeling, rafting.

Survivors include his wife, Deidre Chatmon Garlin; his pride and joy, Rylee Garlin and Mason Garlin; mother, Darlene Cox and her husband, Al; father, Tommy Garlin and his wife Carol; brother, Jeremy Garlin and his wife, Marie; stepbrothers, Josh, Alex, and TJ Forsyth; brother-in-law, Jason Chatmon and his wife Tina and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Andy's life will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 3:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. Interment will follow in Snow Springs Baptist Church, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be Jason Thomas, Jamie Collins, Mike Edwards, Alex Forsyth, Tim King and Tony Ramos.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
