Mrs. Ann Elizabeth "Peggy" Patterson Brown, age 56, of 25 Yellowhammer Drive, White, GA passed away Monday morning, December 27, 2010 at Cartersville Medical Center.

She was born in Cartersville, GA, June 24, 1954, daughter of the late Elmer Lee and Tinnie Mae Tidwell Patterson. Peggy enjoyed the outdoors, camping, spending time on the lake, watching her boys play ball when they were young. She also enjoyed watching Law & Order, the Atlanta Falcons, and NASCAR, and reading, especially westerns by Louis L'Amour. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Elmer Lamar and Kenneth Lee Patterson; a sister, Bobbie Lanelle Rudeseal.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Brown of White; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel (Michelle) Rudeseal of Cartersville and Tommy Rudeseal of Rome; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Kasey) Downs of Acworth; 5 grandchildren, Nathan Downs, Payton Bone, Drake Garrison, Kayla Walker and Hailey Garmon; 2 brothers, Charles (Carolyn) Patterson of Adairsville, Travis (Shelley) Patterson of Adairsville; 2 sisters, Linda Jennings of Adairsville, and Sue Patterson of Cartersville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Josh James officiating. Interment will follow in the White Cemetery, White. Daniel Rudeseal, Tommy Rudeseal, Mark Adcock, Kenny Patterson, Shawn Carter, and Michael Brown will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
