Mrs. Ann Nell Fox, age 77 of Cartersville, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 surround by all her loved ones.

Mrs. Fox was born in Cartersville, GA on August 29, 1942 to the late Ernest Atkinson and Ruth Gravley Atkinson. She was of the baptist faith and spent her life caring and tending to her family. She loved flower gardening, knitting, and a girls day going to Walmart and the flea markets. She was preceded in death by her son, Roy Fox; brother, Amos Atkins; and sisters, Sally Banks and Mary Vaughn.

Survivors include her loving loving husband of 60 years, James Fox; children, Jerry (Peggy) Fox, Carol (Jeff) Mooney, Lester Fox, Moshie (Little Man) Chappell; 7 grandchildren, ll great-grandchildren, and a great great-granddaughter; sister, Shirley Cross and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Banks officiating. Internment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Rydal. Bennie Hardman, Danny Cross, Bit Atkinson, Franklin Hardman, Troy Fox, and Curtis Stokes will serve as pallbearers. Wesley Brown, Brad Cross, and Luke Fox will serves as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
