Obituary

Ms. Anna Janell Camp, age 91, of Rome, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Camp was born in Floyd County, Georgia, April 4, 1930, daughter of the late James Carl West and Pauline Ralston West. Janell loved working with flowers and prided herself on her beautiful yard. She always loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Charlotte Gail Camp; sisters, Geraldine Wyatt, Ouida McClure and Victoria Jackson; brothers, Chester West, Harry West, Vernon West and Carl Donald West.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Joan Camp and Denise and Dusty Dowdy; grandsons, Blaine Greeson (Amanda), Shawn Greeson (Katie), Seth Dowdy (Allie Ray), and Amber Dowdy; great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Gabrielle, Titus, Talluah, Levi, Gavin, Roy and Jassie; and several several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Mr. Al Squires and Mr. Gary Diggs officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be Ron Jackson, Larry West, Richard West, and David McClure. Will Jackson will serve as honorary.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Ms. Anna Janell Camp.
