Mrs. Annie Belle Ward King, of White Road, Adairsville passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. King was born in Adairsville, Georgia, February 18, 1934, daughter of the late Elam and Lee Ward. Mrs. King was a member of the Adairsville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. King was a 1954 graduate of Adairsville High School where she played basketball. She was a gentle loving wife, mother, maw-maw, and great grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Charles "R.C." King of Adairsville; her son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Elaine King of Adairsville; her daughters and sons-in-law, Rose and Danny Smith of Adairsville, Tina and Tony Smith of Adairsville, and Lynn and Randall Smith of Adairsville; her grandchildren, Mandy, Andy, Dana, Bobby, Candace, Naomi, Jeremiah, McKenzie, Amy, and Rachel; she was also blessed with 19 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 12:00 PM at Adairsville United Methodist Church, Adairsville with Dr. Ken Freshour officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM until service begins.
