Mr. Anthony "Jody" Darryl Shavouth Raines, age 51, of 105 South Cass Street, Adairsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from injuries sustained during the tornado in Adairsville.

He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, October 16, 1961, son of late Frank and Doris Robinson Raines. Mr. Raines enjoyed playing video games, drawing, and doing wood work. He was preceded in death by his parent and a brother, David Raines.

Survivors include his son, Tylor Raines of Rydal, 2 sisters, Karen Davis of Adairsville and Debbie Redd of Adairsville; brother, Mike Hall of Maryland and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Towe Chapel Cemetery, Adairsville, with Rev. Justin Bannister officiating. Daniel Henderson, Richard Davis, Joseph Davis, Cody Hall, Corey Redd, Randy Cantrell, JW Freeman, and Kevin Sexton will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until the graveside hour at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
