Mrs. Audrey Jean Nelson Bowen, age 75, of Adairsville, GA, passed away, September 22, 2013 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Mrs. Bowen was born in Summerville, GA, on February 2, 1938, daughter of the late Euclid Clyde "Dick" and Bessie May Tucker Nelson. She was of the Christian Faith and had worked for years in the retail industry. Her interests included working word puzzles, shopping at Wal-Mart, caring for her animals and, especially, spending time with her daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, John Bowen.
She is survived by a child, Eric Richardson and fiancée, Cindy Robbins of Woodstock; a sister, Betty Kay Spiers of New Zealand; a niece, Dawn Michelle Murphy of Ellijay.
