Mrs. Augusta Faye Morgan, age 70, of Big Oak Tree Road, Adairsville, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, at the residence.

Mrs. Morgan was born in Atlanta, Georgia, September 1, 1942 daughter of the Joseph Ernest Mize and Mildred Lois Mize. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Life Point Community Church and retired from Highland Rivers where she enjoyed many years working and counseling with woman. She loved going to the beach, working in her flowerbeds, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jack Morgan of Adairsville; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Henry and Beverly Morgan of Cedartown and Joseph Morgan of Cartersville; a daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Steve Williams of Ranger; 7 grandchildren, Heather and Jason Hutchins, Machelle and Joey Crawford, Kristy Morgan, Brandy Morgan, Stephen and Hillary Williams, Meagen Williams, and Cullie Williams; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and sister-in-law, Anthony and Bunnie Mize of Jackson, GA and Michael O. Mize of Davenport, IA; 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia Ogle of Gainesville, GA and Rebecca and Scott Lyle of Dawsonville.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Bennett and Rev. Brent Davis officiating. Interment will follow in White Cemetery, White. Jody Jamison, Stephen Williams, Henry Morgan, JR, Jody Morgan will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at Barton Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
