Mrs. Barbara "Bobbie" (Adcock) Dutton, age 83, of Adairsville went to her Heavenly home Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

She was born in the Folsom Community, February 8, 1940, daughter of the late Walter Cliff Adcock and Mary Stone Adcock. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Daniel Ovell Dutton; brothers, Harrell Ovell Adcock and Max Adcock; and sister, Lillian Kirby. Mrs. Dutton was a lifelong and eldest member of Glade Baptist Church. She was a faithful servant of the Lord who loved her church and church family. Barbara was a loving, caring, and giving mother and memaw; her family meant everything to her. She retired from the Gordon County School System after many years spent as the lunchroom manager at Gordon Central High School. Barbara was a lady of many talents, a gifted quilter and seamstress, leaving behind many of her masterpieces for her loved ones to cherish, and a phenomenal cook and baker, especially her fried apple pies. She touched a lot of lives and loved even more; she will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her beloved daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Ron Edwards, Terri Dutton and Darlene and Ray Tierce; grandchildren, Tyler and Mandi Edwards, Wil and Olivia Tierce; great-granddaughter, Ava Edwards and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 6, 2024, at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Woodall officiating. Interment will follow in Hayes Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ron Edwards, Ray Tierce, Tyler Edwards, Wil Tierce, Danny Watson, and Dylan Huskins.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
