Mr. Barry Allen Freeman, age 23, of 853 Woody Road, Adairsville, died Friday, November 4, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Freeman was born in Calhoun, GA, March 31, 1988, son of Randy Mulkey, Sr. and Linda Darlene Freeman. He had attended Living Way Four Square Church, Adairsville, where he accepted Christ into his life. Among his interests were hip-hop music, particularly Eminem, and tattoo art. A very outgoing person, he loved to make people smile and especially loved children. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herman and Shirley Mulkey.

Survivors include his first child, who is expected on April 12; his mother, Linda Darlene Freeman of Calhoun; his father, Randy Mulkey, Sr. of Resaca; grandparents, Herman and Glenda Freeman of Adairsville; 4 brothers and a sister-in-law, Randy Mulkey, Jr. of Calhoun, Michael Hunter of Calhoun, Andy (Tiffany) Mulkey of Calhoun, and Damian Mulkey of Resaca; a sister, Sandie Bohannon of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Maddox and Pastor Drew Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Randy Mulkey, Andy Mulkey, Jeff Freeman, Richard Skaja, Steve Nelson, Ricky Cochran will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include, Jackie Mulkey, Stevie Mulkey, Joe James, and Randy Tucker.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
