Ms. Betty Jo Arnold, age 81, formerly of Adairsville, passed away December 19, 2018 in Summerville, GA.

Ms. Arnold was born in Adairsville, GA, December 1, 1937, daughter of the late Fred D. Harris and Effie Davis Harris. She was a member of Redeeming Overcoming Church of God in Adairsville. A caring and giving person, she was always helping others and her community. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Ms. Arnold was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Danny Harris; sister, Georgia Ann Turner and Mary V. Harris.

Survivors include her children, John Carson, Barry Arnold, Todd (Sonya) Arnold, and Genise Printup; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wynell Davis, Joan Carter, Lavern Harris; brothers, Fred K. (Janet) Harris, Edward Harris, and Lewis (Annie) Harris; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2018, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Bishop Randy Parker, Pastor Ernest Bush, and Pastor Mitchell Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens, Calhoun.
