Obituary
Mrs. Betty Jane Manning, age 64, of Manning Drive, Plainville, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Manning was born in Floyd County, Georgia, June 15, 1952, daughter of the late Carl Donald West and Juanita Burnette West. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Calhoun. Mrs. Manning enjoyed reading and watching cooking shows, but most of all she loved being a mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Menissa Manning; brother, Rickey West; sister-in-law, Linda Faye Rochester; and niece, Jennifer Wilson.
Survivors include her loving husband of forty-seven years, Eddie Manning of Plainville; children, Jason Manning of Plainville, Celena Miller of Plainville, and Kevin (Alicia) Manning of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Cambria, Jacob, Justus, Leah, and Danielle; sisters, Deborah (Lanny) Wilson of Adairsville and Cheryl (Danny) Moore of Adairsville; sister-in-law, Annie Ruth (John) McBrayer of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery, Plainville.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
