Mrs. Betty Jo McClure Harris, age 89, of Folsom Glade Road, Adairsville, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

She was born in Adairsville, GA, on September 29, 1933, daughter of the late Walter Hubert McClure and Jesse Johnson McClure. She was also preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Billy Howell Harris; son, Michael Harris; brothers, Walter Millard McClure and R. D. McClure. Mrs. Harris was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and retired from Calmor, Inc. Betty devoted her life to her family and loved being with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching her daily shows.

Survivors include her son, Tony Harris; daughter-in-law (Michael's wife), Kay Harris; grandchildren, Becci Furr (Virgel), Mickey Harris (Michelle), Jason Leone (Anthony), Tim Harris , Natalie Jacobs (Jeremy), Marshé Collins (Katie), Elliot Harris, Devin Harris, Caitlin Harris; great-grandchildren, Ani Furr, Ruston Furr, Trystan Parker, Dominic Harris, Duke Harris, Lorelai Harris, Juliana Leone, Emily Leone, Chloe Harris, Jase Harris, Grant Jacobs, Christopher Jacobs, Jenna Jacobs, Destiny Thomson, and Hayleé Thomson. sister-in-law, Mickey Jane Harris McClure; brother-in-law, Alfred Harris and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Gregg Free officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Mrs. Harris's family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
