Obituary
Mrs. Betty Maacks Prater , 85, of Pine Log Road, Rydal passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston, New York, May, 9, 1930, daughter of the late Norman Maacks and Anna Krueqer Maacks. Mrs. Prater attended Gospel Deliverance in Adairsville. She loved spending time with her family and working crosswords. Mrs. Prater was preceded in death by her parents; 2 children and 2 step-children; a granddaughter; 3 brothers and a sister.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-eight years, Elmer Prater of Rydal; 8 children and 4 step-children; 27 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to come and celebrate Betty's life on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Pine Log United Methodist Church with Minister Walkie Walraven officiating.
