Mr. Billy Jack Goodwin , age 48 , of Euharlee passed away unexpectedly Mon day, March 6 , 20 23, at Northside Hospital .

Billy was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 24, 1974 , son of the late Richard Allen Goodwin and Angie Peterson Goodwin . He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Marty Lephew and nephew, Br y ton Cason. Billy was an all-around good guy with a great sense of humor who loved living life. He was a proud husband and dad. Family was most important to Billy, especially his girls. Billy loved his job at Baldwin Paving and all of his work family . He enjoyed get-together s , singing and playing the guitar, watching Tampa Bay football and was an avid fisherman. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by the many people who loved him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Amie Goodwin; his daughter, his "Boo-Boo", his pride and joy , Gracie Goodwin (Alexis Avila) ; brother s, Richard "Ricky" Goodwin, Shane Goodwin (Carissa), Mark Lephew (Heidi) , Alvin Goodwin, and Ricky Allen "Big Rick" Goodwin; sisters, Samantha Rowland, Kim Goodwin Ford, and Donna Goodwin O'Quin; special nieces, Kaley Goodwin and Meagan Evans, Skyler Goodwin, Ashley Bryant ; specials nephews, Brandon Rowland, Josh Hargis, Evan Goodwin, Bear Lephew, Darren Abernathy, and Ethan Abernathy ; mother-in-law, Evelyn Lephew and sever al nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sun day, March 12 , 20 23, at 3 :00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Mike Abernathy officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 P M until 3 :00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
