Mr. Bobby Wayne Langley went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 1, 2024, surround by his loved ones.

Bobby was born in Gordon County, June 12, 1934, son of the late Chesley Langley and Stella Carroll Langley. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Edwin, William, Austin, Redford, and Raymond Langley, and sisters, Elsie Langley, Bonnie Morrow, and Thelma Glass. Bobby was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher for several years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Shaw Industries. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Mattie Hight Langley; daughters, Michelle Little and husband Pete and Trina Woods; son, Eric Langley and wife Leah; grandchildren, Kyleigh Langley, Kris House, Taylor Woods(Shelly Long), Kaity Queen, Miranda Garcia(Johnny), Dawson Woods, Jacob Langley(Allisa), Mackenslee Stansell, Ayden Rodriguez, Kahli Rodriguez, Miller Valvano and; great-grandchildren, Madison Silver, Gaia Bryant, Moon Bryant, Jupiter Stansell, Sammie Queen, Emma Grace Barton, Paisley Garcia, and Lakelynn Garcia; sister, Melenese Langley and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Ministers Donald Collum and Greg Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be Jacob Langley, Ayden Rodriguez, Taylor Woods, Dawson Woods, James Langley, and Albert Jones.

The family will receive friends at Barton Funeral Home, Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
