Obituary
Mr. Bobby Joe Murphy, age 61, of Kingston Highway, Kingston, GA passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Murphy was born in Cartersville, GA, November 21, 1953 son of the late James B. Murphy and Mary Evans Murphy. He was retired from the Bartow County Maintenance Department and an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and NASCAR.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Gene Adams of Calhoun; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Kim Murphy of Kingston; nephew, Keith Murphy; niece, Yvonne and Joe Newberry; great niece, Karah Murphy
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Tony Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Lindale Cemetery, Lindale. Pallbearers include Kenny Johnson, Frank Neal, Jr., Jason Neal, Scotty Wallace, Chris Ashely, and Jimmy Fortenberry.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
