Mrs. Bonnie Sue Curtis Fleetwood

January 8 th 1936- April 6 th 2021

On a cold night in January Bennie Sue Curtis was born to Raymond Curtis and Julia Howard Curtis. They later changed her name to Bonnie Sue as we all know and love her as. Bonnie Sue became "Mothers" pride and joy after the deaths of her sisters who came before her Nellie Mae (4 Months) and Sally Mae (1 day). Bonnie was blessed with an abundance of brothers- Ivory, Will, Roosevelt, Ben, Raymond and her only surviving brother Douglas Curtis, let's not forget her sister Lila Ann Curtis known as Polly.

In April 1956 Bonnie Sue married Lewis Clinton McArthur, with this union came Julia Ann, Kathy Denise, Lewis Clinton and Douglas McArthur. Later Bonnie Sue married George Henry Fleetwood and in this union came Rochelle, George, Andre, and Bobbie Fleetwood. Bonnie Sue was blessed with 8 children, 23 grandkids, 48 great grandkids, and 2 great great grandkids, what a legacy. She has a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

God said "you will hear my voice and the dead will answer, you will rise on my command" Sleep on my dear love, until we meet again. Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life, even though you die you will live again, do you believe this? Then don't cry for long because that day is near.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Poplar Springs Cemetery, Adairsville.
