IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bradley Jacob
Fullerton
June 20, 1983 – October 19, 2023
Bradley Jacob Fullerton, 40, of Athens, GA, passed from life Thursday, October 19, 2023.
Bradley was born June 20, 1983, Rapides Parish, Alexandria, Louisiana. Bradley lived in Athens, GA, a city where he found much happiness.
Bradley is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Carroll and Marglo Hicks, Winnfield, LA. Paternal grandparents Jerry G. Fullerton, Quitman, LA and Martha Stroud-McCaskill of Monroe, LA.
He is survived by who he liked to call his "other half" Sara Hammond of Athens, GA. His mother Debbie Hicks-Fullerton of Acworth, GA. His father Kenneth L. Fullerton of Kingston, GA. His sisters, Christi Fullerton King of Dallas, GA and Courtney Fullerton Brackett of Tampa, FL. His beloved nieces and nephews; Avery Brackett, Reed Brackett, and Lincoln Brackett; Harrison King, Maccoy King, Agatha King, and Maranatha King.
Bradley dearly loved all of his family members. He was extremely proud of his nieces and nephews. They were so loved by him and brought him much joy and laughter. They adored him and will greatly miss their uncle.
Bradley loved giving gifts and taking care of other people. He had some physical limitations, but never let that stop him. He was the most resilient and amazing human, and this world was richer for having him in it. Life presented him with an abundance of challenges, but he never failed to find something positive in any situation. He had an empathetic heart and never missed an opportunity to help others if it was within his abilities to do so. He loved to socialize and meet new people, as well as spend time with family and old friends. He expressed himself through music and art. He loved to draw and paint and created many heartfelt pieces.
Bradley had a very simple philosophy in life: Life is short, live it. He stressed that life is precious and short, and the most important thing in life is how you treat people. He was quick to forgive and always encouraged others to do the same. To know Bradley was to love him. He will leave a void in the lives of those closest to him, but even those who only met him briefly were touched by his conversation, his humor, and his positivity. His outlook on life was infectious and a blessing to everyone. There was no one like him, and he will be deeply missed. He was so loved, and he loved so very many. Bradley was a gift to this world and his time with us was brief but will forever be cherished. He had his flaws and his failures, but his light and his love outshined them always. He was a son, a brother, a loving partner, an uncle, a friend, a nephew. He was so many things to so many people. Quite simply, he loved. We will forever miss you until we see you again and "catch you on the flip side."
A celebration of Bradley's life will be held in Athens, GA at a future date.
