Mr. Brady Odell Moss, 88, formerly of 2644 Highway 140, White, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Star Manor Assisted Living, Cartersville.

He was born in Pickens County, GA, December 23, 1925, son of the late Howard and Arlene Walker Moss. Mr. Moss was a devoted member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing gospel music. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during WW II, was a lifelong farmer and member of the Farm Bureau, and a member of Woodman of the World. Mr. Moss will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and as the community handy man. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mary Bozeman Moss and late wife, Louise Nalley Moss; sisters, Erma Long, Estelle Parker, and Grace Prather; brothers, Harold Moss, Donnie Moss, and Lloyd Moss.

Survivors include his son and daughter–in-law, Allen and Nancy Moss of White; grandchildren, Paige and Paul Farr of Hixon, TN and Grayson and Nikita Moss of White; great grandchildren, Kailyn Moss, Lucas Moss, and Chris Farr; brother Troy Moss of Fairmount and special "family" at Star Manor Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 16, 2014, at 4:00 PM at chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Jerry Cowart and Rev. Donald Collum officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
