Obituary

Braxton Andrew Bearden, better known as Brax, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2026.

Braxton was born May 28, 2005, in Cartersville, GA, son of Jeff Bearden and the late Kisha Welchel Bearden. He was greeted in heaven by his mother, and his grandparents, Darlene Waldon Payne, Jim Payne, Frances Graves Bearden and Lawrence Thurston Bearden, Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, his little twin, Baylin Andrew Bearden; father, Jeff Bearden (Misty); sisters, Reanna Bearden (Gavin Jackson) and Rylie Bearden; uncle, Corey Welchel (Jessie), Scott Bearden (Tabitha), Tee Bearden (Stacy); aunts, Chanda Bearden Brookshire (Richard) and Angie Bearden McAlpine (Nick); grandfather, Tim Welchel (Tanya); special cousins, Kyleigh Linn, Jaxon Welchel, Chloe Welchel, Gabe Welchel, Lance Bearden and several others.

Braxton was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend who touched many lives with his kind heart and vibrant personality. A proud graduate of Adairsville High School, Class of 2023, Braxton enjoyed working on his Tahoe and had a real talent for detailing vehicles. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and riding four-wheeler, and also enjoyed spending time playing Fortnite. Braxton was known for his fun-loving spirit, always joking and bringing smiles to those around him. Caring, generous, and full of life, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Braxton's Life will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Remnant Church,115 International Parkway, Aairsville, GA 30103, with Reverends Andrew Hight and Jim Pinkard officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the church. Graveside service will follow at Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville.

Pallbearers will be Eric Roach, Gary Lankford, Cam Blankenship, Austin Paris, Scooby Hall, and Neil Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Bearden, Jaxon Welchel, Devon Isaac, and Stanley Chesser.
