Mrs. Brenda Jo Beavers Russell died peacefully in her home in Adairsville, GA on 12/28/2014 at the age of 74
Brenda is survived by her sister, Ruth Kelly of Chester, VA and her brother Glen Beavers, of Griffin, GA. Brenda also has one daughter, Carla Perren of Rome, GA. She is survived by three grandchildren, Chelsea Perren, Ben Perren, and Cherish Colbert all of Rome, GA. Brenda is also survived by two great-grandchildren: Audrey Colbert and Benjamin Colbert of Summerville, GA.
Brenda was born on December 9, 1940 in Blue Ridge, GA. She married Keith Hanon Russell, a member of the United States Navy on July 14, 1962. After moving to Chamblee, GA Brenda began working for Gulf Oil and eventually Emory Hospital, from where she retired. She and Keith retired to Adairsville, GA.
A funeral is scheduled for December 31 with the receiving of friends from 12 pm to 2 pm followed by a service at 2 pm at R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home in Adairsville, GA. Bishop Fleming of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Brenda's life.
