Obituary
Mr. Carlton L. Littlejohn, 80, of Old Highway 41, Adairsville passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the residence.
Mr. Littlejohn was born in Rome, Georgia, September 1, 1938, son of the late Carlton James "CJ" Littlejohn and Dollie Bankston Littlejohn. He was a member of Oothcalooga Baptist Church and served in the National Guard. Carlton along with his family was the proud owner and operator of A & L Glass and Canopy for 35 years. He was a cattle farmer and enjoyed gardening. He loved his family and cherished all their time spent together. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Frances McClure Littlejohn, and grandson, BJ Wisdom.
He is survived by his daughters, Carla and Billy Wisdom, Angelia and Robert McClendon, Michelle Hudson and Tommy Huddleston; grandchildren, Jeremy and Brittany Holbrook Littlejohn, Brittany Littlejohn, Alison Caldwell, Nicholas Hudson, Jessica Caldwell, Tera Hudson, Shelby Hicks Wisdom, and Amanda Wisdom; 16 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary "Liz" Hill; brother, Glenn and Jane Littlejohn; special friend, LaVonne Walker and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Brian Yancey, Robert McClendon, Tony King, Tim King, and Tracey Edwards.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
