Carrie Marie Holcomb, loving mother and daughter, age 45, of Cartersville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, October 18, 2024. Carrie was born September 3, 1979, in Marietta, Georgia, daughter of Shirley Durden Teems and the late David Holcomb.

She was also preceded in death her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Durden, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Holcomb, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Teems.

Survivors include her beloved children, Lucy Holcomb, Trent Holcomb, and Bentley Holcomb; loving parents, Freddy and Shirley Teems; stepbrothers, Marty Teems (Kenya), Shawn Teems (J.J.), and Kyle Teems (Carla); along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

To know her was to love her. Carrie was known for her fun-loving, free spirit and a heart of gold. She enjoyed spending time outdoors with her children, loved cooking, trying new recipes, and cherished her cats.

A celebration of Carrie's life will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 2:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Garland officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
