Carter Elizabeth Eley, born May 19, 2024, daughter of Cole and Courtney Eley, went to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Carter laughed and smiled throughout her 6 months; bringing joy and happiness to everyone she touched. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, David and Katrina Smith, Raymond and Sara Newhouse, and Marcie Newhouse; great-grandparents, Jimmy and Vera Smith, Roscoe Newhouse, and Elizabeth Noland; uncles and aunts, Dylan Smith, Tyler Smith, Bailey Smith, Levi Newhouse, Harley Williams, and Brittany Young; and several extended family and friends who loved her dearly. She was greeted in Heaven by her grandparents, James Kuykendall and Barbara Newhouse.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Bagley officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be Dylan Smith, Tyler Smith, Levi Newhouse, and Graham Hilburn.
