Mr. Charles Arvil McStotts, Sr, age 78, of Kingston passed away peacefully April 7, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Charles was born in Adairsville, Georgia, March 5, 1947, to the late Arvil McStotts and Margeriete McDonald McStotts. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Rickey McStotts and John "J. W" McStotts. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam war. He was a retired diesel mechanic from W. W. Williams. Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gail Henson McStotts; daughter, Tina Cobb and husband Randy; son, Charles Arvil McStotts, JR, "Chuck" and wife Christy; grandson, Ryan Cobb; step-grandchildren, Jon Cobb (Shannon), Christopher Cobb, Sean Cobb (Cady), and Alex Cobb (Katie); brothers and sisters, Ann Sheriff (Larry), Roney McStotts (Joyce), Faye Sheriff; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Barton Funeral Home, Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 1:00PM at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, with military honors. Pallbearers will be Ryan Cobb, Jason McStotts, Jonathan Smith, Jarrod Smith, Shane Henson, Phillips Henson and Enich McStotts.
