Obituary
Mr. Charles Billy West, age 86, of Lexy Way, Adairsville, formerly of Marietta passed away Saturday morning, August 13, 2016 at Cartersville Heights.
Mr. West was born in Adairsville, November 14, 1929, son of the late Isaac George West and Rosa Ellis West. He was a member of First Christian Church of Adairsville. He retired from Lockheed Martin and was a member of Kennesaw Masonic Lodge #33 F & AM. He enjoyed being with his family and repairing and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Elizabeth Everett, Catharine Harris and Marie Hamilton; and brothers, Jack West, Bud West, J. N. West, and Bobby West.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-nine years, Wilma West of Adairsville; daughters and son-in-law, Billie Jean West of Adairsville and Pandora West-Moffitt and husband, Glenn of Tampa, FL; son, Todd West of Cartersville; grandsons, William Patrick Moffitt and wife, Chelsea and Raven Alexander West; great-grandson, William Brian Moffitt; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be grandsons, William Moffitt and Raven West and nephews, Charlie Bill West, Jerome West, Dean Hamilton, Randy Harris, Gary West, Terry West, Shane West, Robbie West, Jack West, and Isaac West.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
