Mrs. Charlotte Rogers Green, age 84, of Green Road, Kingston, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Gordon Health Care, Calhoun.

Mrs. Green was born in Floyd County, July 9, 1931, daughter of the late David Homer Rogers and Myrtle Johnson Rogers. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Radford Glenn Green; brothers, Donald Rogers, Douglas Rogers, Aubrey Rogers, J D Rogers, Rev. Carlton Rogers; sisters, Frances Welch, Gladys Wiley, Fannie Bell Wooten, and Mardean Brown Taylor.

Survivors include her sons, David (Donna) Green of Kingston and Bobby Terry (Sally) Green of Kingston; daughter, Wanda (Winston) Bishop of Centre, Alabama; brother, Buddy (Barbara) Rogers of Rome; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Bobby Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Green, Jeff Green, Jr. David Green, Jr., Kody Green, Trey Green, and Jake Tilley. Honorary pallbearers will be Drake Green, Jeremiah Mallet, Brian Bishop, and Kevin Bishop.

The family will receive friends Monday at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
