Obituary
Ms. Cheryl Lynn Rampley Thompson, age 59, 107 Newtown Road, NE, Calhoun, died Wednesday (February 1, 2012) at Gordon Hospital, Calhoun.
Ms. Thompson was born in Rome, March 6, 1952, daughter of Mattie Bell McGuire Rampley and the late Rev. Calvin Rampley. She was of the Baptist Faith enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Ms. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Mack David Holland and her father.
Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Glynn and Brenda Thompson of Adairsville and David and Alesha Thompson of Shannon; a daughter, Chrystal Thompson of Calhoun; her mother, Mattie Bell McGuire Rampley of Rome; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Susan Rampley of Summerville.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. David Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, is in charge of arrangements for Ms. Cheryl Thompson.
