Mr. Christopher Alan Towe, age 42, of 2575 Kingston Highway, Rome, passed away Thursday morning, December 15, 2011, at Floyd Medical Center.

He was born in Calhoun, GA, October 6, 1969. Mr. Towe was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church, Cartersville and was employed at Floyd Medical Center in the IT Department. Mr. Towe had an incredible love of music, and was a talented singer in addition to playing several instruments.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Betty and Robert Copeland of Rome; his father and step-mother, Leldon and Mattie Lou Towe of Cedar Bluff, AL; a special friend, Christian Navarrete of Rome, 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Tammi and Robson Falcao of Sandy Springs and Deidra Waddell of Rockmart; a half-brother, Scotty Towe of Cedar Bluff, AL; a half-sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Kirk Ragland of Adairsville; 2 stepsisters, Holly and Phil Moore of Rome and Hayley Copeland of Rome; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Larry Towe and Rev. Leslie Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, Rome.

Pallbearers will be Hans Navarrete, Kevin Parker, Charles Howell, Joshua Burns, Jeremy Free, Stephen Cromer, Phil Moore, and Kirk Ragland.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
