Mr. Clarence W. "Precious" Hall, 88, of Pine Valley Drive, Adairsville passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Mr. Hall was born in Adairsville, October 3, 1929, son of the late James "Jim" Clarence Hall and Annie Elizabeth Buttrum Hall. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church and active in the Brotherhood. He retired from Dan Rivers. Clarence enjoyed singing gospel music and going to gospel singings. He liked watching the Atlanta Braves and being outdoors, from fishing to mowing the yard. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois Craig Hall; brothers, Melvin, Roy, Virgil, Junior, and Raymond Hall; sister, Fannie Ruth Redd and stepson, James Craig.
Survivors include his loving wife, Claudette Richards Hall; sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred and Linda Hall, Cary and Teresa Hall, and Michael and Kathy Kiser; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Edward Hicks, Hazel and Shane Towe, Donna and Phillip Turner, Vivian and Enos Stockbridge, Dimple and Joseph Clark, and Arlene and Tim Dasher; stepsons, Fred Craig, Edward Craig, and Junior Craig; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Reverends Donnie Summey, Rickey Sanford, Larry Towe, and Cary Hall officiating. Interment will follow Towe Chapel Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Jack Darnell, Scott Duvall, Chuck Nichols, Daniel Hite, Charles Dothard, and Michael Roberson. Honorary pallbearers include his grandsons, Tommy Little, and the gentlemen of the church.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6: 00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
