Cody Dillon Harris, our beloved son and brother and friend, age 26, passed away on February 13th, 2019. He was born on November 9th, 1992.

He was a graduate of Kennesaw State University with Associate in Accounting and Bachelors in Sport Management pursuing his dream sports job. He worked recently for Swing Away Baseball Hitting Trainer Company, and as a Ticket Attendant at Mercedes Benz Stadium for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United teams. He worked the Super Bowl game. He had accepted a Ticket Sales Account position with Chattanooga Red Wolves Soccer Club.

Survivors include parents Jeff and Donna Harris of Plainville and Sister Courtney and Brother-in-law Isaac Goad of Adairsville, Grandmother Gwinell Temple, and the following Uncles/Aunts, Mitchell and Rachel Harris of Calhoun, Billy and Libby Temple of Plainville, GA, and Jason and Amy Temple of Plainville, GA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Doris Lemons Harris of Adairsville, and Bill Temple of Plainville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of R. Dudley Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Dutch Scott officiating. Interment will follow in nearby Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville, GA.

Pallbearers include Thad Harris, Terrell Dyer, Isaac Bain, Isaac Goad, Jacob Temple, Trey Temple, Jericho Temple, and Josh Temple. Other cousins will serve as honorary pallbearers along with special friend Adam Bain.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at R. Dudley Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Cody Harris.
