Mrs. Connie Sue (Roush) Smith, age 74, of Adairsville, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 8, 2023, after a lengthy illness.

Connie was born in Seamen, OH on September 11, 1948, to the late Samuel Thomas "Tom" Roush and Martha "Wilma" (Smittle) Roush. Mrs. Smith was a faithful Christian and member of Bethel Baptist Church. Connie was a student of the Bible who was passionate about sharing the word of God with others. She worked in kitchen design for several years before becoming owner/operator of a construction management business with her husband Forest.

Connie was blessed with an artistic and creative mind. She enjoyed drawing and artwork, was an excellent seamstress, and phenomenal cook. She always looked forward to planting her garden and the joy of canning everything she grew. She was an avid reader and loved anything with history and genealogy. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her loving husband, Forest Smith; daughters, Heather Woodall and husband Todd, Elizabeth "Liz" Wood and husband Woody, Rebecah "Becky" Stroth and husband Bryan, and Kathrine "Katie" Willis and husband Brad; son, Kester Smith and wife Tracey; grandchildren, Camille Woodall, Ryan Fletcher, Hannah Stroth, Sam Stroth and wife Gabby, Caleb Stroth and wife Violeta, Fletcher Stroth, Loudrige Stroth, Devin, Jonathon, and Kayla Oswald, Lily, Allen, Timothy, and Delilah Smith; sister, Joni Pulse and husband Tom; brother, Richard Roush and wife Juanita; great aunt, Lois Newman; cousin, Joyce McDowell;  several  nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, 2023, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Jason Pace and Allan Early officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 Pm until 3:00 Pm at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.

Graveside Service will be held Tuesday June 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm from  Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville, Ohio.
