Mr. Roland Cortez Suttles, III, age 69, of Adairsville, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021.

He was born in College Park, Georgia, December 4, 1951, son of the late Roland Cortez Suttles, Jr. and Edna Thames Cowart. Mr. Suttles attended Adairsville Church of Christ.  Cortez attended Young Harris College in 1974 and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from West Georgia College in 1976. He was employed at Bartow Precast and truly enjoyed his job and the people he worked with. Cortez was a proud supporter of the military and a war history enthusiast.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Suttles.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Terri B. Suttles; sons, Daniel Suttles and Drew and Brittany Suttles; grandchildren, Gabriel Suttles, Jaxton, Henley, Palmer, and McKenna Suttles, and Elijah Murphy; sisters-in-law, Kay A. Smith, Lynn and Sonny Parker, Joan and Mike Smith; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until 3:30 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 PM at Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville with Min. Drew Suttles and Mr. Mike Smith officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers.
