Ms. Cynthia Ann Smith, age 64, formerly of Adairsville, passed away peacefully Friday evening (January 13, 2023) in Huntsville, Alabama.

Ms. Smith was born in Floyd County, GA, September 7, 1958, daughter of the late Raymond Gordon "Bill" Smith and Marion Penfield Smith. Cynthia was a member of the Adairsville Church of Christ and a faithful Christian. She enjoyed being around people, traveling, going on cruises, to the mountains and looking through a good magazine. She loved her family and friends and was a blessing to all. She was funny and brought much joy to everything. Cynthia was so truly special and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her brother, William P. "Billy" Smith, Sr., and wife Barbara Sue; sister, Nancy Smith Busby and husband Christopher; nephews, William P. Smith, Jr. and Thomas Busby; nieces, Dawn Smith Chastain, and Lena Smith Adams; several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Ministers Steve McCaslin, Butch Jones, and Rick Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Graham Smith, Denton Smith, Camden Busby, Carter Busby and Dave Adams.

The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Cynthia's memory to Adairsville Church of Christ.
