Mr. Danny Michael Baggett, age 68, went peacefully to the Lord Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

Mr. Baggett was born in Rome, Georgia, June 4, 1952, son of Ruby Bagley Baggett and the late Lawrence "Bill" Baggett. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and loved his country. Mr. Baggett was a proud alumni of Adairsville High School and an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. Danny was a humble and compassionate Christian man who loved the Lord. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He was a wonderful husband, father, and Papa. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Baggett and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Tillie Teems.

He is survived by the love of his life to whom he was married to for 40 years, Betty Teems Baggett; son, Brenton Baggett and wife Christa; daughter, Brooke McCorkle and husband Robbie; grandchildren, Braxley Baggett, Cade McCorkle and Caroline McCorkle; mother, Ruby Baggett; brother, Randy Baggett and wife Debbie; brother-in-law, Freddy Teems and wife Shirley; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Sammy Burgess and Kyle Walker officiating. Internment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home. Pallbearers include Brenton Baggett, Robbie McCorkle, Marty Teems, Shawn Teems, Kyle Teems, Larry Richards, and Robbie McCorkle, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will include Randy Baggett and Freddy Teems.

Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
