Mr. Danny Briggs Garland, age 60, of Kingston passed away December 8, 2020 from injuries sustained in a house fire.

He was born in Atlanta, GA, March 6, 1960, son of the late Howard Briggs Garland and Mary Lucille Cobb Russel. Danny was a child of God and loved the Lord. He worked as a horse farrier and owned and operated Garland Stables with his wife Linda for over 20 years. A lover of music, Danny could play anything put in front of him especially the guitar. He loved his family, had a heart of gold, always willing to help others, and a true friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents; Howard Briggs Garland and Mary Lucille Cobb Russel and grandson, Justin Jute Garland.

Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Linda C. Garland; children, Anthony (Angel) Garland, Danielle (Eli) Conant, John Reyes, Jr., and Gina Reyes; children he raised as is own, Tiffany Warren and Austin Levi Payne; grandchildren, Josh, Harisyn, Coltin, Waylon, and Charlie Garland, Esme Conant, Justin, David, and Briana Reyes, Christopher Mimbs and Billy Crabtree; great-grandchildren, Colton, Cameron, Kaylee, Jade and Jimmy Reyes, Jack and Caroline Mimbs; sisters, Paula Garland and Sharon McCary; brothers, Glenn Garland and Robert Garland; several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside service will be held at Faith Tabernacle Church Cemetery. The family will have a Celebration of Danny's Life at Garland Stables, Saturday, January 16, 2021, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
