Mr. Danny Troy Hight, age 72, of Adairsville, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 9, 2026, at Piedmont Cartersville Hospital.

Danny was born in Rome, Georgia, April 15, 1954, to the late Cleo Adams Hight and Troy Hight. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Jo Hight and grandson, Nathaniel Ledford.

He is survived by his children, Felicia Boller and husband Michael, Adam Hight and wife Lori, and Aaron Hight and wife Jacqueline; grandchildren, Austin Ledford and wife Liz, Gabrielle Boller, Ansley Hight, Michael Hight, Griffin Hight, and Jacob Cromer; great grandchildren, Olivia Ledford and Michael Hight; brother, Pete Hight and wife Susan; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Danny was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be remembered for his big personality, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor. In his younger years, he was a talented athlete, especially in basketball, where he earned the nickname “Pro Hight.” He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed deer hunting. Danny had a joke or something funny to say for just about any occasion, and his witty nature brought laughter to those around him. He also enjoyed listening to music, especially the Eagles and the Doobie Brothers.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM from Remnant Church, Adairsville with Reverends Andrew Hight, Ricky Adcock, and Pete Hight officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Alex Hight, Kyle Abernathy, Chris Hebert, Clint Hight, Jacob Parker, and Blake Young. Honorary pallbearers will include Clinton Hight, Frankie Fletcher, Jimmy Fletcher, and Ronnie Self.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Remnant Church, Adairsville.
