Mr. David Lee Fletcher, 55, of Adairsville passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Fletcher was born in Adairsville, Georgia, November 18, 1964, son of Glenda Baggett Fletcher and Roy David Fletcher. Lee proudly served his community for over 30 years. He was employed with the Gordon County Fire Department, Adairsville Police Department, and retired as Captain with the Bartow County Sheriff's Office. After he retired you would usually find him outside on his farm messing with pigs or cutting firewood. He also enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. Lee loved his family, he was an amazing husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death his grandparents, Ed Baggett and Roy and Mary Fletcher; father-in-law, Jack Thacker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Thacker Fletcher; children, Will David(Erika) Fletcher, Benjamin Lee (Brooklyn) Fletcher, Heath (Amber) Garlin, Heather King, Jacob Key, and Amber Bagley; parents, David and Glenda Fletcher; grandmother, Lucille Baggett; grandchildren, Trystan King, Teagan King, Taylor King, Savanna Garlin, Huck Garlin, Madelyn Fletcher, and Pacey Fletcher; brother, Stephen Fletcher; nephew, Tyler Fletcher; mother-in-law, Joy Thacker and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

A celebrations of Lee's life will be held Friday, November 6, 2020, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.

Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
