Mr. Dean "Pinto" Edward Blalock, age 64, of Cartersville, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Fairmount, Georgia, September 10, 1956, son of Edward Lelton Blalock and Frances Evelyn Scoggins Blalock. Mr. Blalock attend Remnant Church. Dean was a graduate of Adairsville High School class of 1974 and retired from Glad Industries after 30 years. After retiring he owned and operated Pintos Bobcat. He enjoyed racing motocross and was a huge Big Foot enthusiast. He was a loving husband, dad, and papa. He was preceded in death by his nephew, John David Blalock and niece, Amanda Hall.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Evelyn Monday Blalock; sons, David and Becca Blalock, Darrell and Alicia Blalock, and Joey Blalock and Summer Hullander; parents, Lelton and Evelyn Blalock; grandchildren, Amanda Blalock, Nicholas and Alyssa Blalock, Hayden Blalock, Keely Blalock, and Kaden Blalock; brothers, Dwight and LaVerne Blalock and Alvin and Malinda Blalock; sister, Lawanda and Phil Bearden; special family friend and mother to Hayden and Keely, Richelle Blalock; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Mon day, April 26, 2021, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Ronnie Richardson and Andrew Hight officiating. Interment will follow in the Blalock Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ryan Bearden, Jamon Harris, Nicholas Blalock, Hayden Blalock, Eric Hall, and Shawn Sutton. Honorary pallbearers include Dwight Blalock, Alvin Blalock, Kaden Blalock, Austin Harris, and Phil Bearden.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.

Family and friends attending services will be asked to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
