Mrs. Deborah Renee King, age 58, of Adairsville, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at her residence.

She was born in Kennesaw, GA, February 9, 1968, daughter of the late Roy Wayne and Bertha Inez Blalock Buckner. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Linda King.

Survivors include her devoted and loving husband, Charles King; son, Jesse King and wife, Marie; brother, Tim Buckner and wife, Susan; father-in-law, Roy King, Sr.; and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Deborah was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was caring for her family. A graduate of Cartersville High School, Class of 1986, Deborah later attended Coosa Valley Technical College where she earned her CNA certification and carried her caring spirit into her daily life.

Deborah had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed deer hunting. She and her beloved husband, Charles, shared many adventures together on annual hunting trips to Texas, as well as trips to Kentucky and local hunts closer to home. She also loved fishing and found peace and happiness in nature. Deborah enjoyed traveling and sightseeing, creating treasured memories while visiting places such as Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Hole, WY. She also found joy in horseback riding and spoiling her two dogs, “Little Bit” and “Sassy”. In quieter moments, she loved reading and working on cross-stitch projects.

Known for her kind heart and warm spirit, Deborah was truly a friend to all. She was caring, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her love, generosity, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 29, 2026, at 2:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Ronnie Cowart officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
