Mrs. Debra Fay Miller, age 62, of Cartersville, passed away peacefully Monday, February 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Debra was born in Rome, GA, May 2, 1963, daughter of the late Fay White McClure and Clifford Alvin McClure, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Clifford Alvin McClure, JR. and Michael Ray McClure. Debra was a loving wife, an awesome mother, devoted sister, and cherished friend whose life was centered around her family. She retired from the Bartow County School System after 30 dedicated years as a bus driver, where she faithfully and safely transported generations of children and formed lasting friendships along the way. A faithful member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, Debra lived out her faith through kindness, compassion, and service to others. She especially loved spending time with her granddaughter, who was the light of her life. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband of 43 years, Doug Miller; beloved son and daughter-in-law, Christian and Jennifer Miller; granddaughter, Kinsley Grace Miller; sisters, Karen West, Tracy McClure Green (Anthony), and Donna McClure Redd; special cousin and bestfriend, Cathy Gilliland and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at Oak Hill Baptist Church, Rydal with Rev. Steve O’Neal officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers include Ricky McClure, Brandon McClure, Justin West, Anthony Bohannon, Larry May and Joe Carver.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
