Mrs. Debra Sue West Parker, age 70, of Kingston, went to be with her Lord and Savior June 1, 2024, surrounded by her family that loved and adored her.

Debra was born in Cartersville, GA, January 16, 1954, to the late Raymond Joseph West and Mamie Atkinson West. Mrs. Parker was also preceded in death by her infant child and brothers Raymond Leon West and Jimmy West. Debra was a faithful child of God, devout prayer warrior, and member of Kingston Holiness Church. She loved her community, always willing to help others in time of need. She loved children, Debra spent many joyful years caring for children in her home. She was a strong woman who always gave her all. Most importantly Debra was a loving wife, amazing mother and mother-in-law, devoted grandmother, and the best sister and aunt. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Rev. Jessie Parker; son, Shane Parker; daughter, Stephanie and Chase Groover; grandchildren, Keely Groover, Haisley Groover; grandson at heart, Jacob Jordan; special niece, Amanda Jordan; sisters, Janie Porter, Patricia West Byars, and Barbara and Larry May; brothers Tim and Tina West; sister-in-law, Connie West; brother-in-law, David and Patricia Hubbard; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Kingston Holiness Church, with Rev. Jessie Parker and Rev. Corey Herod officiating. Interment will follow in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers include her nephews: Tommy Porter, Wendall Porter, Brent West, Blake Byars, Cody Hubbard and Preston Jordan. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Findley, Logan and Dillon Herod, Jacob Jordan, Lane Byars, Larry May, Mark Dupree, and David Hubbard.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Kingston Holiness Church, 64 Old Rome Road, Kingston, GA 30145.

In lieu of flowers the family ask if you feel lead to donate to Brother Jessie and family for medical expenses.
